Many people walk these days to raise money for charity. Having well trained dogs along the way helps motivate the walkers and add fun to the occasion. Linda Stein volunteered at the March of Dimes fundraiser to show people how to get their dogs well behaved in public settings.
Linda Stein demonstrated dog handling for Hudson Valley youth at the Y2K Expo, which presented career choices to the teenagers attending. Stein-Way Dog Training has attended career days throughout the Hudson Valley for the past 10 years. Linda Stein is available for lectures and demonstrations for hobby clubs and other organizations interested in
learning about the world of dogs. Lectures include "Dogs Who Serve Our Community" and "Choosing and Living with Your Dog...Or Your Neighbors!"
Personality Profile:
This is our dog, Kaya dressed as a camel for Halloween. Kaya is an almost 6 year old Great Dane who weighs 165 pounds and stands 36 inches tall at the shoulder. She got her CGC (Canine Good Citizen certificate) when she was 10 months old. Kaya thinks that people were put on this planet just to pet her! She lives with another Great Dane, Willow, and a Chihuahua named Mickey. She is the sweetest girl! We often have people who want to have their picture taken of their children and their dogs with her. Some people even want a picture of their children sitting UNDER Kaya! She really is a gentle giant.
Personality Profile:
This is a picture of Cody. He's an eight year old peckingese poodle. I've had Cody since I was eleven so we got to grow up together. He was the best Valentines Day gift I've ever been given. He's such a sweet and loveable dog and he's very smart. (Sometimes a little too smart lol) His favorite things to do are playing with his "babies" (that's what he knows his stuffed animals by), going buh bye, and having his belly scratched. He's been my best friend and we're inseparable. Everyone that knows him loves him.
Personality Profile:
This is Lexie and she is a 1 and a half year old Rottweiler from Indiana. Some people are scared of her because she is a Rottweiler, but if you have been around her, you would know that she is just a baby. She loves to lick your face and sit on your lap. Her favoirte times are taking long walks and playing with her roommate, Bubba, a black pug. She is Elvis for Halloween because she "loves us tender."
